Is scuba diving safe?

Yes, scuba diving is safe when properly trained and following safety guidelines. Our courses emphasize safety at every step.

Can I dive if I wear glasses or contact lenses?

Yes, you can dive with contact lenses or prescription masks. Prescription masks are highly personalized to you, the diver, so we outsource to the best in the industry to give you the best results.

What courses do you offer?

 We offer a range of courses to fit your needs from beginner to advanced, including Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, various specialty courses, and even professional programs.

Do I need to be a strong swimmer to learn scuba diving?

Basic swimming skills are necessary, as you will need to swim a short distance and tread water during the course.

What is the minimum age to start scuba diving?

The minimum age for most entry-level scuba courses is 10 years old.

Do I need to be in good physical condition to scuba dive?

Yes, you should be in good health and have a reasonable level of fitness. A medical questionnaire or doctor’s clearance may be required.

How long does it take to get certified?

The time it takes to get certified, depends on the course you’re taking. The Open Water Diver certification for example,  typically takes 3-4 days to complete, including classroom sessions, pool training, and open water dives.

What equipment will I need for the course?

We provide all necessary equipment for the course, including wetsuits, masks, fins, regulators, and tanks.

Can I rent equipment after I’m certified?

Yes, we offer rental equipment for certified divers.

Do you offer group discounts or private lessons?

We offer discount opportunities throughout the year, typically at the end of the year and for our various dive trips and events. You do NOT have to take the course during the trip or event (unless otherwise specified), but to be eligible for the discount, you MUST attend the trip or event that fielded the discount. We do not offer a discount on private lessons.

What should I do if I feel nervous about diving?

It’s normal to feel nervous. Our instructors are experienced in helping students overcome anxiety and ensure a comfortable learning experience.

How often should I dive to stay proficient?

 It’s recommended to dive regularly to maintain skills. We offer refresher courses for an affordable price if it’s been a while since your last dive.

What are the water conditions like in your diving locations?

Our dive sites offer a variety of conditions, from calm and shallow waters ideal for beginners to more challenging environments for advanced divers.

Do you offer certification from recognized agencies?

Yes, we are affiliated and train our divers using Scuba Schools International (SSI).

What should I bring to the course?

Bring swimwear, a towel, and a positive attitude. We provide all the necessary equipment and materials.

Do you offer internships or professional dive training?

Yes, we offer Divemaster and Instructor Development Courses for those interested in professional diving careers.

Can I book dives or courses online?

Yes, you can book dives and courses directly through our store website, email, or by calling us.

What are the payment options for your courses?

We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, online payments, and cash.

Do you provide accommodations for out-of-town students?

We can assist in arranging accommodations nearby and offer package deals that include lodging.
